How to watch CBS from abroad on Android device?

I am trying to download the CBS application to my Android telephone, but I am not allowed because of some geographical restrictions. Will I be able to watch CBS on my Android device from abroad at all? How can it be done?

If you are located outside the United States and try to download the CBS application from the Google Play Store you will not be allowed to do so. In fact you will not even find the application as you search for it in the Google Play Store. If you however visit cbc.com and click the button to download the CBS Android application from there you will not be allowed to do so, because of your location. So, what can be done if you are not allowed to download the CBS Android application?

There are two things that can be done for you to be able to get hold of the CBS Android application.

1. Search in Google for CBS Android Application APK. This is the program file for the CBS application, and if you download it you can install the application without using Google Play Store.
2. Use a VPN provider like PureVPN which you later need anyway to watch CBS from abroad and connect to a server in the USA. Then you enter settings and the applications and then you choose Google Play Store. Press delete data and open Google Play Store and search for CBS. You should now find the application, but if this does not work, try step one instead.

If you followed these instructions you now have the CBS application on your Android phone or tablet. To get the actual videos working you will however need a VPN or a SmartDNS subscription.
